HYDRAULIC HATCH COVER

Product/ Introduce
According to different power of opening and closing hatch cover, it can be divided into mechanical traction type and hydraulic opening and closing type. According to the structural form or opening and closing method, it can be divided into rolling type, folding type and lifting type (lifting type).

Rolling hydraulic control hatch
The rolling type hydraulic control cabin cover can be divided into three types: rolling type, rolling type and rolling type. The ship usually adopts the rolling hydraulic control hatch cover. The rolling hydraulic control cabin cover is composed of 5 parts: cover plate, watertight device, roller device, guide traction device and pressing device. Each cover plate is connected by a chain. Each cover plate is equipped with a pair of eccentric wheels, which can walk along the panels on both sides of the coaming of the hatch. There is also a balance wheel, which is not located at the midpoint of the width of the cover plate. When closing, insert the steel cable into the opening guide pulley directly in front of the hatch, and connect with the head end cover plate of the storage place with shackle. Operate the cargo winch or crane, twist a cover plate in front of the wire rope towing belt, the guide wheel rolls along the guide plate, and then the cover plates are pulled by the chain mutually. When the rear roller of the cover plate contacts with the guide plate, the cover plate rotates around the guide wheel until its connection coincides with the connecting wheel seat on the front cover plate. Later, continue to move along the horizontal material of hatch coaming until the head end cover plate collides with the brake. Ensure the hatch is well closed to avoid water leakage, and finally put on the compactor to prevent the hatch cover plate from moving when the wave strikes or the ship swings.
Compared with other mechanical hatch covers, rolling hatch covers have the advantages of simple structure, low price, easy maintenance, less limitation in scale, layout and use, etc., and are widely used in various types of ships. The disadvantage of the utility model is that the storage space is large and the time required for lifting and pressing operation is long.

Folding hatch
Folding hatch cover is also called hinge hatch cover. According to its driving mode, it can be divided into hydraulic driving type (with hydraulic pressure), direct pulling type (with ship crane or suspender) and Rope dragging type (with winch). The folding hatch cover device is similar to the rolling hatch cover device, except that the cover plates are hinged. In order to reduce the labor intensity of the crew and make the hatch cover open and close quickly, the folding hatch cover is mostly driven by hydraulic pressure .

Suspended hatch cover
Lifting type hatch cover, also known as box hatch cover or lifting type hatch cover. The cover plate is usually made of metal or fiberglass to form a box section, and a lifting ring is arranged in the plane of the cover plate. The box hatch cover itself does not have a special driving mechanism, which is lifted and moved by the cargo lifting machinery on board or at the port. When opening the cabin, the hatch cover shall be stacked on the deck and at the wharf side. If it is made into a seal, it can provide buoyancy and also be stored in the water beside the ship. The structure and operation of the box type assembled hatch cover are very simple, and the maximum deck opening area can be obtained, so it is most suitable for the use on the container ship. The dimensions of the box hatch cover are generally large, so attention should be paid to make the box hatch cover not exceed the lifting capacity of the hoisting equipment in the design.
